Wood Hats are custom made to fit your head size. They can be made in several styles including Aussie Outback, Cowboy, Bowler, etc. The wood is usually Maple, cherry, or other soft hardwood. The lead time includes obtaining your head size and the fresh cut wood of your choice. I only use wood that is being cut down for another prpose, so this can take some time unless you have the tree in mind!
